Explore cookbooks and get customized grocery lists to simplify your meal planning.

Hello, my name is Olga Fry.

Both of my parents worked full-time jobs. Nevertheless, my mom always found time to cook a dinner every night.

At the end of each day we would sit down together to share a home cooked meal.

While eating, we would share stories about events of the day, express our feelings, get advice from mom and dad, had a lot of laugh and left the table with a great sense of well-being.

It concerns me that the tradition of home cooking is becoming a lost art.

Too many families rarely sit down together at the dinner table. Many are eating on the run and rely on fast-food restaurants.

A number of research studies have been performed ”to ascertain the effects of fast food on long-term health. The results were disturbing, to say the least. Analysis found fast food to be "high in fat, saturated fat, energy density, fructose, and glycemic index, yet poor in fiber, vitamins A and C, and calcium," but the drawbacks didn't end there.

According to the research, the average fast food meal contains 1400 calories and 85 percent of one's daily recommended fat intake.”

I believe that it's possible for a busy person to find the time to cook at home.

That's when cookbooks come to use. There is such a great variety available on the market these days.

And, in each one of them you can find a host of delicious, nutritious, easy and satisfying recipes for every taste.

All you need is a few minutes per week spent selecting the recipes, planning your menus and some extra time for grocery shopping. Besides, cooking itself can become the most relaxing time of your day.

Almost every cookbook offers menu suggestions and menu planning tips.

However, a rare one provides a grocery list that you can print out and take with you to the store.

Therefore, I began creating lists that cut my meal planning time almost in half. I want you benefit from it too.

I subdivided all cookbooks into the following sections:

FREEZER

FRUGAL

INTERNATIONAL

KIDS AND FAMILY

QUICK AND EASY

SPECIAL DIET

SPECIAL OCCASION

VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN

Feel free to click on any of the sections in the left-hand side bar and chose the one that interests you the most.

After you've done that, select the recipes, pencil them in a blank menu planner or in an empty calendar, print out corresponding grocery list from this website, write in the quantity of needed ingredients and you’re ready to go grocery shopping!

I'll be adding lists regularly, so check in frequently to see what is being added.

You can download and print all grocery lists for free.

If you don't have a cookbook that you found on this website and would like to buy one, please click on a cookbook's image and it will take you to Amazon.com online store.
